Supalai Joins Forces with Thammasat Design School to Advance the “Design Meets Business” Concept, Aiming to Cultivate the Next Generation of Designers for a Sustainable Future
Supalai Public Company Limited, in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University, reinforces its leadership in real estate and sustainable housing innovation. The company opened the Supalai Grand Tower building to host a special activity titled “SUPALAI x TDS Discovery Camp.” The event provided more than 40 high school students who are interested in design with the opportunity to learn about real-world working concepts and gain new perspectives on how design can connect with the real estate business.
During the event, Dr.Prateep Tangmatitham, Chief Executive Officer of Supalai Public Company Limited, delivered a special lecture on the topic “From Architect to Property Developer: A Career Path You May Never Have Known.” The talk focused on sharing his philosophy and professional experience, highlighting the integration of science, art, and life philosophy in architectural design to create buildings that sustainably enhance both the quality of life and the well-being of residents.
This activity is also part of the TDS Discovery Camp Certificate Program, “Next-gen Designers for A Sustainable Future.” The program aims to prepare high school students who are interested in design by introducing them to the Design Thinking process and engaging them in workshops that simulate real business scenarios. In addition, participants visit real workplaces of professional architects and designers, allowing them to gain close-up experience and insights into careers in the real estate and design industries.
This initiative reflects Supalai’s commitment to being a learning space that nurtures the potential of the next generation of designers. The goal is to help them grow into capable professionals who are socially responsible and ready to play a key role in driving the future of the real estate industry and design innovation.
