Supalai "Sang Dee" Joins Forces with TOA to Support BAS CAMP OF GEN 7, Bringing Color and Opportunities to Students at Ban Nong Chok School, Ratchaburi
Supalai Public Company Limited recently moved forward with its social responsibility initiative under the "Supalai Sang Dee" (Supalai Build Goodness) concept. Partnering with TOA Paint (Thailand) Public Company Limited, the company supported the BAS CAMP OF GEN 7 volunteer activity organized by the Faculty of Business Administration for Society, Srinakharinwirot University (SWU). This marks the third consecutive year of the partnership aimed at improving the environment and elevating learning spaces for children in remote areas. The latest project took place at Ban Nong Chok School (Chitti-Bunsri) in Ban Kha District, Ratchaburi Province, which currently serves over 70 students.
Mr. Parinya Sribua, Assistant Director of the Construction Department at Supalai Public Company Limited, stated: "We believe that a 'Learning Space' is the vital starting point for a child's future. A school environment that is well-maintained, safe, and engaging inspires children to attend school and develop themselves. BAS CAMP OF GEN 7 provides a platform for Supalai to support the younger generation in taking tangible action for society and passing on opportunities to children in need."
For this project, Supalai contributed a budget of 20,000 Baht, provided painting equipment, and deployed a team of engineers to offer technical guidance on site. Working alongside over 150 student volunteers, the team focused on maximizing benefits in terms of safety, functionality, and creating an atmosphere conducive to learning. Key improvements included:
- Transforming walkways into BBL (Brain-Based Learning) playgrounds to stimulate child development through movement.
- Repainting the multipurpose building walls.
- Renovating playground equipment and public benches to ensure they are beautiful, safe, and ready for use.
Meanwhile, TOA supported the project by providing various types of high-quality paint and sending experts to share knowledge on color selection and proper application techniques. This ensured that the school’s renovation was high-quality, aesthetically pleasing, and durable for long-term use.
This collaboration has successfully upgraded the school’s facilities for both academic and creative activities while effectively reducing the school’s maintenance costs. Beyond the physical changes, the project has enhanced the learning atmosphere, instilling pride and inspiration in the students. It also provided a valuable "real-world" experience for the student volunteers to create a meaningful impact on society.
