Supalai Enhances Phuket Stray Dog Shelter Through Community Volunteer Initiative
Recognising that a good quality of life extends beyond the home and into the wider community and environment, Supalai Public Company Limited has continued its commitment to social responsibility through its “Supalai Sang Dee” campaign. Led by Mr.Chavakorn Petchsalabkaew, Director of Regional Project Division 3, together with a team of employee volunteers, the company recently carried out improvement activities at the Phuket Stray Dog Shelter. The initiative aimed to enhance the living conditions of stray dogs while supporting the shelter staff in their daily operations.
Driven by a shared commitment to creating a more welcoming and functional environment, Supalai volunteers helped improve the landscape at the shelter’s entrance and surrounding areas. Activities included repainting entrance gates and fences, refurbishing the shelter’s signage and photo spots, and installing directional signs to facilitate access for visitors and members of the public. These improvements have contributed to a cleaner, more organised environment that is better suited to animal care. In addition, the company donated essential supplies for both shelter staff and the dogs under their care, including pet food and cleaning equipment, helping to improve overall welfare and day-to-day living conditions at the facility.
