Supalai Shares Anti-Corruption Knowledge at CAC × JUMP+ Forum, Advancing Thai Businesses toward Sustainable Standards of Transparency
On September 14, 2026, Supalai Public Company Limited continued to share its knowledge and experience in good corporate governance and anti-corruption practices with the broader business community. Ms. Toopthong Hirunyanulak, Director of the Corporate Governance and Quality System Department, was invited by the Thai Private Sector Collective Action Against Corruption (CAC) to participate as a speaker in the panel discussion “From Commitment to Action”, held as part of a seminar on building anti-corruption systems in Thailand’s private sector for listed companies participating in the JUMP+ Program. The event was held at the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), with representatives from more than 46 listed companies participating to learn and exchange knowledge and experiences.
During the panel discussion, Supalai shared its knowledge, experience, and best practices on turning anti-corruption commitments into concrete action in business operations. The approach begins with tone from the top, whereby leaders demonstrate a clear commitment and serve as role models, followed by the development of an organizational culture grounded in integrity and transparency and the embedding of controls into business processes. These controls encompass risk assessment, internal controls, auditing, monitoring, and whistleblowing mechanisms, helping ensure that anti-corruption principles are systematically integrated into day-to-day operations and organizational decision-making.
Another key topic was the transition from “Awareness to Behavior.” Supalai emphasized that personnel should not merely be aware of or memorize policies but should also be able to identify red flags relevant to their responsibilities, make appropriate decisions when faced with risk situations, and have access to supporting systems that enable them to make the right choices. This approach is reinforced through clear DOs and DON'Ts, case-based learning, focus groups, as well as measurement and reinforcement, with the results used to strengthen understanding and support continuous improvement.
Supalai also shared its experience in extending transparency standards to suppliers and across the value chain. The Company emphasized that strengthening the supply chain should go beyond simply communicating requirements for suppliers to comply with; it should also focus on building their capabilities to effectively put those standards into practice. This approach is implemented through initiatives such as Supplier Day and the Supalai Coaching Clinic, which provide consultation, knowledge sharing, readiness assessments, and ongoing follow-up support for suppliers, from the declaration of intent through preparation for CAC certification.
The discussion also covered approaches to strengthening controls to prevent the misuse of inside information, linked to the principle of Integrity in Decision-Making. Under this concept, anti-corruption extends beyond the prevention of bribery to include preventing the misuse of authority, responsibilities, resources, or information obtained by virtue of one’s position for undue benefit. Risk management and control principles are applied to ensure that such governance mechanisms are implemented systematically and can be effectively monitored.
Supalai’s participation as a speaker on this occasion further underscores the Company’s role in promoting knowledge sharing and capacity building across the business sector. By sharing its organizational experience and best practices with more than 46 listed companies, Supalai aims to support the practical application of good corporate governance and anti-corruption principles within organizations and contribute to the development of an integrity ecosystem that strengthens transparency standards and responsible business practices across Thailand’s private sector.
